Welcome to Youth Ministry!
The teenage years are a critical time for personal and spiritual development. Paul’s words to Timothy, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12), are a powerful reminder that God calls young people to be leaders in their faith. During these formative years, youth are searching for identity, purpose, and belonging. It is crucial for the church to provide them with guidance, mentorship, and opportunities to grow in their relationship with Christ.
Youth need a place where they can ask tough questions, explore their faith, and experience the love of God in a supportive community. Youth groups, retreats, and missions are vital in helping them navigate life’s challenges while deepening their understanding of God’s Word. By encouraging them to serve, lead, and live out their faith, we help them realize that they are not just the future of the church—they are the church today. Let us empower our youth to shine brightly for Christ in their schools, communities, and beyond.
